Stella and I are here. Good idea. Order it and maybe other people can and we can do it after the Marianne Wiggins.

Stella is going to blog, then?
Re reading Picture of Dorian Grey at the moment while awaiting new titles.

I gave the Wiggins to my sister-in-law Liz. I've started 'Emergency Sex' - non-fiction by three young UN workers - a very engaging read so far.

Great title - 'Emergency Sex'.
Will anyone blog with us?

Thanks for photo, Pat.
Today's bookish item: a trip to Berkelow's huge book barn in Berrima.

I've read The White Earth and passed it on to Stella, who will share with Ros, she says. Lots of reading to do before next Sunday. I'll find it a bit hard to comment as it is so much my story - we grew up in the foothills of the Bunya Mountains, with a brother William who was born to inherit the land that we took from the blacks 'and why should we give it back to them' - many many resonating themes. I even went to Cherbourg like Ruth did asking about the Aboriginal people who came from Cooyar station (where my grandmother grew up). And my son Peter shares an ear problem with William (and Andrew McGahan)! My 'big' sister, Mary has made a blog, and have a look at her first entry what a coincidence! It's at http://marybob4.blogspot.com/
